As of 28 November, we have to close our doors at 17:00, therefore we have cancelled all the evening mat classes in the studio. However, we have set up 2 online mat classes via Zoom (on Monday and Wednesday 19:30).
We will ask all clients to keep 1.5m distance, wear a mask when entering the Studio and have a valid QR code on the smartphone app or a paper proof for those who do not have a smartphone.
If you are not vaccinated, you can show us a valid antigen test, no older than 24 hours.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a training method for young and old. The Pilates Method is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. In Pilates, emphasis is placed on the following principles: concentration, control, precision, breathing and curvilinear movements. It has a positive influence on the body and mind. With the practice of Pilates on a regular basis, your body will retain its benefits.

The Pilates Studio

We have different type of classes (Individual, Duet or Group) and different levels (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) in our Pilates Studio in The Hague.

Do you want to train individually , with two or three persons (duo/trio) or do you prefer to train in a group ? They are all possible, as we have different type of classes and different levels and we can also develop classes to suit your needs. The studio is fully equipped with specifically designed exercise apparatus: Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda chair, High chair, Wall units, Spine correctors, power circles and mats.

Training Programs

Private
Private sessions are also referred to as 'personal training'. A custom training program to meet your needs will be set up during an intake session with your personal trainer, ensuring the training program is specific to your needs.
Duo and Trio sessions
During the duet or trio sessions, we will make use of all the specifically designed exercise apparatus. It is important that your partner(s) is/are on the same level as you.
Mat Class
The group mat classes (max. 10 people) are floor exercises on mats with use of the power circle and the Pilates ball to strengthen the core of your body. We have 3 different levels of mat classes: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.

Catarina Palma
Catarina was a professional classical dancer for 15 years and danced with several companies around in Europe. Next to her dance career, she has also a master's degree in human motricity..
Carine Nabuurs
Carine studied in the dance academy in Arnhem. She had her own ballet school in Ede for almost 20 years. In 2003, she finished her Pilates education in The Hague with Romana' Pilates.
Zhivka Yaneva
Zhivka graduated from the Musical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1999. In 2005 she came to The Netherlands to study the Pilates method and completed her certification training in The Hague with Romana's Pilates....
Ineke Latour
Ineke holds her full Stott Pilates certification and has been a dedicated teacher since 2008.She is also certified as an ACE Personal Trainer and Pink Ribbon Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist.
Sabine Morosini
