Pilates Private Classes
Private sessions are also referred to as 'personal training'. A custom training program to meet your needs will be set up during an intake session with your personal trainer, ensuring the training program is specific to your needs. If you are rehabilitating after an injury, would like to enhance your body posture or focus on your coordination and concentration....... then we recommend the private sessions.
Private lessons make use of the specifically Pilates designed exercise "apparatus".
The Pilates exercises are mainly focused on the "powerhouse". The powerhouse is the area of your body that extend from the bottom of your ribs all the way to your hip line. It includes the abdominal muscles, low back muscles, pelvic floor, muscles around the hips, and the glutes (butt muscles). It is the powerhouse that gives you energy, stability, strength, and control. The equipment offers resistance to your movements so you have to use your core and deep muscles. The exercises should be performed in a flow and with precision for optimal effect.
If you are at the "intermediate level", you can also opt for duo, trio or quartet classes. It is important that your partner(s) is/are on the same level as you.
