What is Pilates?
Pilates is a training method for both young and old to developed and improve the body posture by building strength, developing proper alignment and increasing flexibility.
The Pilates exercises focus on five main principles; breathing, centering, concentration, control and precision.
The Pilates training is not just only a serie of exercises, it is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, performed on the mat or specifically designed exercise apparatus and supervised by extensively trained teachers to strengthen the Powerhouse and train the entire body. Regardless of your current level of fitness - from sedentary office worker to fitness enthusiast - The Pilates Method can be your primary mode of body conditioning and injury prevention.
We provide both Individual and group Pilates training at our studio in The Hague - Benoordenhout nearby Wassenaarseweg. All our trainers are certified according to the "classic Pilates method from Joseph Pilates and all have years of experience.
